According to Italian media reports, the 2017 Premier League champions are looking to seal a €25million deal to land the Uruguay international defender from the Italian outfit.
Italian media outfit Calcio Mercato, as cited by Sporting Witness, is claiming that Chelsea are looking to make the South American one of his first signings this summer.
The same report states that imminent Blues manager boss Maurizio Sarri has identified the defender as a transfer target to improve Chelsea’s backline ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
Valuation must be met
As per the same report, Chelsea would have to cough out a fee of about €25million to land the Uruguayan.
