Chelsea have been struggling with a perfect striker since the departure of Spain international, Diego Costa.

Spain International, Diego Costa was a prolific goal scorer at Stamford Bridge before he was sold by the Blues former coach, Antonio Conte in a controversial manner.

Following the departure of Diego Costa, Chelsea signed his fellow countryman, Alvaro Morata to the squad but since his arrival at Chelsea, Morata has been struggling to perform.

Alvaro Morata, who was great at Real Madrid doesn’t have the confidence to score in England.

The Blues went on to sign Arsenal star, Olivier Giroud thinking he will do a better job but the former Gunner seems to be a nice guy kind of striker, who prefers to make goal assists rather than score.

Looking at this, one can affirm that Chelsea are yet to find the perfect replacement since Diego Costa left.

Well, recent report have linked Chelsea with Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has been great this season scoring 5 goals in 7 matches and would only cost the Blues the sum of £16.8 million to sign.

This latest development may be a hint that Alvaro Morata will be out of Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.
