Transfer News – Man United On The Verge Of Sealing £40m Deal For Fabinho
Manchester are on the verge of sealing a £40million for AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho, according to reports.
The 23-year-old has been tipped to leave Ligue 1 champions this summer after an illustrious outing that saw them win the French league during the last term.
Reports in Portuguese outlet O Jogo have it that Jose Mourinho is nearing another summer signing after the arrival of Victor Lindelof from Benfica last week.
It is understood that Fabinho is also keen on moving to the Old Trafford this summer, and his wife Rebecca Tavare has also given a clue away by liking a fan post linking the Brazilian to United.
The midfielder had earlier revealed his desire to join a club in the stature of Manchester United, further fuelling speculation over his future
He said: “My objective is to get to a club with the dimension of Manchester United.
“I am of no clue if one day I’ll be a United player, but I’ll keep working so it stops being a rumour and becomes reality.”
Fabinho could be an ideal addition for the Red Devils this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to add quality to his squad in order to better their performances next season.
