Former Arsenal Captain Sends Strong Message To Chelsea’s Antonio Conte

Different football clubs have different competition levels in their different teams. It is quite easy for some outstanding players to shine in some clubs, due to the absence of competition in the team. However, in some other clubs, an outstanding player needs to work very hard if he is to feature regularly for the club – due to the presence of many other extraordinary players.

There are different football clubs. Some are regarded as ‘big’ clubs, while some others are referred to as ‘small’ clubs. The major difference between a ‘big’ club and a ‘small’ club is the presence of outstanding players in the club.

A club like Chelsea is a perfect example of a big club – they’ve got a lot of quality players who needs to work very hard if they want to feature regularly, as there is always an outstanding alternative closer.

Spanish star Cesc Fabregas is an outstanding player quite all right. However, since the beginning of this season at Chelsea – which is a big club, he wasn’t getting lots of playing time due to the presence of other outstanding alternatives.

Now however, the former Arsenal captain has told his current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte that he wants to play “every single minute” for Chelsea this term. He however admits he will have to fight for his spot.

Even though Fabregas has been granted just seven starts in the Premier League this season by the former Juventus manager, one thing he always ensure to do is to impressed accordingly whenever he was called upon. He has scored three times and has provided seven assists in this current campaign.

He is hoping he can hold down a regular spot in Conte’s first team between now and the end of the season and the 29-year-old, speaking in an interview with The Times of India, said he desires playing every single minute, admitting it will be something tough to achieve.
