4-2-3-1 formation, Martial Starts in Man United’s probable line vs Southampton.

Manchester United will clash against Southampton in February, 26 2017 on Saturday in what could be an easy win for United who are currently in a fine form this season.

United have won their last five games in all competitions, with Southampton wining just two games and 3 loses in their last five games.

Although, Southampton players have been brilliant in the EFL this season, they have won five games in the competition without conceding a goal even after playing Arsenal and Liverpool.

With this in mind, Mourinho’s men would have to be very tactical and work harder to break Southampton defence who have proven to be very good in the EFL.

It was reported that Mourinho is likely not to field the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Michael Carrick who suffered injuries in their last game against Saint-Etienne in the Europa League.

We are expecting the likes of Herrera and Fellaini to handle the midfield at Old Trafford.

In the attack, Anthony Martial should come in for Mkhitaryan to partner Pogba and Mata who will play behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Valencia, Rojo and De Gea are expected to return to the starting XI.

This is how we expect Man United to line up.

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

Defence: Blind, Rojo, Smalling, Valencia.

Defensive Midfield:  Herrera, Fellaini.

Attacking Midfield: Martial, Pogba, Mata.

Forward: Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
