Bad News: I’m Surprised This Chelsea Player Is Doing This

After a very successful career, Chelsea legend John Terry recently announced that he is leaving the club he has been with for 22 years, when his contract expires at the end of this term.

And former Arsenal captain and current Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas says he was surprised by the Englishman’s decision to leave at the end of this season.

Terry, last May, signed a one-year extension at the west London club. However, he hasn’t been regular under Chelsea’s new Italian coach Antonio Conte this season so far. With the presence of David Luiz and his fantastic form, John has last featured for Chelsea in the premier league last year’s September.

The veteran defender is set to leave the Stamford Bridge club at the end of the season, and Cesc expressed that he was still surprised by John’s decision to leave the club.

The Spanish midfielder is of the opinion that Terry is irreplaceable at Chelsea.
Fabregas stated that despite that there were lots of talks and speculations about his move, no one knows for sure. And then it is official that Terry is leaving, and he is surprised.

He however noted that It is a very personal decision between John and the club, but he can’t see anyone fit to replace his role in the squad.

The Englishman is however touted to remain in the premier league as he has been linked with other premier league clubs like West Brom, Bournemouth, and West Ham.
