This season, due to Chelsea‘s impressive performances under their new Italian boss Antonio Conte, they have been receiving lots of admiration from different people, and many people are now interested in the Stamford Bridge club following their unpleasant performance last season.

Now also, former Chelsea player Ruud Gullit has stated that this season, Chelsea have the best defence in the Premier League.

Gullit also thinks Chelsea’s solid defence is their massive advantage over their rival duo of Manchester United and Manchester City.

It’s now obvious that Gullit too, like many others, has seen Antonio Conte flourish in his debut season in charge at Stamford Bridge, and admires the Italian’s brilliancy.

This is Antonio Conte’s first season at Chelsea, and he didn’t get everything smooth immediately he arrived. At the beginning part of the season, he faced early difficulties. Coming back to the Dutch legend Gullit, he isn’t far from the truth. This season already, Chelsea have conceded the joint-least goals in the premier league and are levelled on 20 with second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

And truly, Manchester City have been quite more open at the back and are currently 10 points off leaders Chelsea.

Manchester United too, though got a good defense, are not as better as Chelsea’s. Even last October when the two teams met at Stamford Bridge, the United defense gave way to 4 goals.

And Gullit making comments ahead of Chelsea and Man Utd FA Cup game on Monday, declares how Chelsea are so superior with Antonio Conte’s approach.

He stated in his Daily Mail Column that an advantage Chelsea have is that they’ve got great players up front and at the back.
