Former Real Madrid Coach, Zinedine Zidane is reported to be planning for life at Manchester United, should coach Mourinho be asked to leave the club.
The crisis at United has become an issue and Mourinho is speculated to be close to the exit door if situations fail to improve.
Zidane has been rumoured as a replacement for the Portuguese as he is yet to secure any job since leaving Spain.
The Mirror had reported the Frenchman’s interest in the job, with reports that he has told friends that should Mourinho be sacked, he will be expecting a call from United.
The report added that Zidane has started thinking of players he would bring to the Old Trafford to help him achieve same success he achieved at Madrid.
Toni Kroos is the first name mentioned as he succeeded at Marid under Zidane. The pair are reported to have established a good relationship in the past. This is in addition that United had shown interest in the midfielder but were denied.
Another name that has been on United’s rader, Thiago Alcantara, would not hesitate anytime he is called.
James Rodriguez and Edinson Cavani completes the four-man wanted list that could be seen at United but that is expected to happen only if Zidane takes over from embattled Mourinho.
