Chelsea forward Eden Hazard recently joked with a Chelsea supporter that he will never depart the West London club, as talk of a fresh contract at Stamford Bridge linger.
The Belgium international forward posed for pictures and autographs at the NBA match between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers in London.
The Real Madrid transfer target went as far as informing a Blues supporter that he would never leave Stamford bridge, which follows claims that the attacker himself has said he and Belgium compatriot Thibaut Courtois are likely to extend their Chelsea contract at Stamford Bridge.
The former Lille attacking midfielder has continuously been heavily linked with a huge-money transfer to the Spanish Capital club, but Antonio Conte’s side are keen to tie the player down and secure his Chelsea long-term future.
While the promised Eden made to the fan can be taken with a pinch of salt, it seems Chelsea are doing everything possible to secure the two mega deals.
The Chelsea man was seen at the NBA game with his younger brother Kylian Hazard who has since been sold to Germany and fellow Belgian Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City, as well as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Spaniard Marcos Alonso and Dane Andreas Christensen.
