English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been suggested to forget about the pursuit for the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.
The North London outfit have been long suitors of the star player but a deal has failed to fall through as both sides are unwilling to come into an agreement.
Arsenal had expected that Nicolas Pepe would serve as a replacement for England international Danny Welbeck who is injured and feared not to retune as an Arsenal player.
Latest report hints that German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich are seriously interested in the forward and are already preparing a bid for him ahead of the coming summer window.
The 23-year-old has been impressive so far this season to earn the interest from a number of big European sides having scored 16 goals in 23 league appearances.
The likes of Man City and Barcelona have also indicated interest in the player but it is now obvious that he is for Bayern Munich to lose as they have gone ahead in the deal.
The report claims that the Ligue 1 outfit are also ready to part ways with the striker as they are willing to cash in on him to be able to sanction other deals.
