Arsenal take on West United on Saturday at London stadium and Unai Emery’s side will hope to register their first Premier League win in two matches.

The Gunners started this season in an impressive manner but they seem to have lost their winning mentality as the season progresses.

They were thrashed by Liverpool two weeks ago, though, they returned back to winning ways in last weekend’s clash with Blackpool but it was one of FA Cup third round fixture.

Team News

Unai Emery is definitely a happy man ahead of the fixture as six of his injured players are back to full fitness and they are readily available for selection.

Hector Bellerin, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi all returned from their respective injuries during the week and Emery now has more options to choose from while naming his first XI against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

However, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck are unavoidably missing due to injury.

PROBABLE LINE-UP

Bernd Leno is set to return to the first-team line-up having been dropped to the bench in their 3-0 victory over Blackpool last weekend.

Fit-again stars Hector Bellerin and Shkodran Mustafi are likely to return to the back of the pitch for the first time in more than a month. Laurent Koscielny and Sokratis Papastathopoulos are also tipped to be in the Spaniard’s starting XI.

Another returnee Mesut Ozil — who could be leaving the Emirates stadium in January — could be given a rare start by Emery and he would feature as the team’s playmaker.

In-form Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are both certain to retain their place alongside Ozil at the middle of the pitch.

Inconsistent Alex Iwobi could feature at the right flank while Alexandre Lacazette will be at the left wing of attack for the Gunners.

Former Borussia Dortmund goal-poacher Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will feature as the leading striker against the struggling Hammers.

A win would see the Gunners create a six-point lead over United who will be in action against Tottenham on Sunday.
