Unai Emery gives latest update on injured players during the match against Manchester City
Coach, Unai Emery didn’t have the best time of the EPL openings games as his side lost to EPL toppers, Manchester City.
The game between the two football clubs ended in a 2-goal to nothing as Arsenal were unable to add just a single goal.
Manchester City players, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva scored the two goals.
It was disclosed that had Manchester City been in their right form they would have scored more goals against the Gunners.
However, former PSG coach, Unai Emery is confused on how to start their next game against their arch-rivals, Chelsea this weekend.
Arsenal have two of their defenders Sead Kolasnic and Nacho Monreal on injury and sidelined, however, their 20-year-old defender, Maitland-Niles, also joined the list yesterday after he sustained an injury in the match against Manchester City.
The Spain international was given a tough time by Manchester City and England international, Kylie Walker but later sustained an injury when the duo clash.
Maitland tried to continue the game after medics treated him on the pitch but it later got to a stage when he could no longer carry on as he was replaced with new signing, Stephan Lichtsteiner.
It remains unsure if he will start in the next game against Chelsea.
