Liverpool fans were given a huge scare ahead of the all-important Premier League clash with title rivals Arsenal after star player Mohamed Salah was seen with a protective brace on his wrist.
The Egyptian international forward was spotted with a brace via training ground pictures posted on the club’s official Twitter handle on Wednesday night.
Several Reds fans went into panic mode with many fearing that the former AS Roma and Fiorentina forward could miss the game against Arsenal on Saturday.
Mohamed Salah has been in sensational form for Liverpool since he swapped AS Roma for the Reds last summer.
The five-time European champions paid £36.9m to secure his transfer from the Italian capital club.
He went on to break the record for Premier League goals scored in a 38-game season.
Salah scored 32 league goals as he helped the Reds to secure a Champions League spot.
He was hugely influential for Liverpool in their run to the Champions League final before sustaining a shoulder injury in a challenge with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
Without the injured Salah, Liverpool were beaten 3-1 by eventual winners Real Madrid.
Salah started his second Liverpool season but he has picked up his form in the last three games ahead of the Arsenal clash
He has scored four goals and provided two assists.
