According to reports, Chelsea have received a major transfer boost as it’s suggested that AS Roma forward striker Edin Dzeko has given the go-ahead to a transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Former Juventus head coach and current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has seen his team struggle recently for goals, netting just once in their last four matches in all competitions.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia football expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Blues could be moving closer to identifying a decent solution, as the former Manchester City forward has allegedly said yes to a transfer to join Chelsea.
Further, it’s claimed that it could take €60million for the Blues to bring both Edin Dzeko and teammate Emerson Palmieri to Stamford Bridge with the Palmieri solving another problem at left-back position, while the likelihood of seeing Belgium striker Batshuayi move in the opposite way hasn’t been completely ruled out either.
The Roma striker had quite the campaign last term, netting 39 goals in 51 matches across all competitions.
Dzeko scored 29 goals in 37 Italian Serie A matches to win the Capocannoniere top scorer award, while he’s bagged 12 goals in 26 matches so far this term as he has proven once again that he is a quality striker.
