Transfer News: Manchester United Set To Pay A Superb £80M For New English Striker

According to new revelations, EPL giants Manchester United are set to pay a superb £80m to sign Tottenham‘s striker Harry Kane to the Old Trafford next summer. It is believed that José Mourinho seeks a long-term replacement for hugeman Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Ibrahimovic  turns 36 this year, though he keeps getting better despite his age, it’s understandable that he won’t be around for too long. Therefore, the red devils needs to begin the search for an established young striker. And now, they have allegedly found 23-year-old Kane to be the perfect player that can take over the attacking lane at Old Trafford.

Kane is a talented youngster who worked hard to break into Spurs’ first team in 2013. And since then, in 100 league matches for the club, has scored 59 goals. This season alone, being on fine form, he has scored 12 times in 17 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring twice to help his side smash Watford in the 4-1 win on Sunday.

The speculation also stated that Manchester United are ready to pay huge to Tottenham management for him, as well as tender him a mouthwatering wages. And it is believed that the probabilities of getting him would be increased if United can get the next season’s Champions League ticket.

After a sluggish start in the campaign, United are now finding their form back as they are still in the Sixth position in the EPL table, only three points off the top four.

Back then in November, Kane signed a new deal with Tottenham that expires  2022, so we don’t know yet if that will keep him there. Though he earns around £100k-per-week, it is obvious he would pocket a higher amount should he move to Manchester United.
