Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
While Real Madrid fans have been hoping the Welshman won’t leave this summer, it appears the player is bound to play at Old Trafford next season.
Bale was reduced to a team player last season under manager Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu. In their last Champions League campaign, the strong attacker could only start just a single game – their 3-1 win over Juventus, and he was even substituted before full-time.
But he proved he’s still on top of his game when he came off the bench during Real’s Champions League final against Liverpool at Kiev to score the brace that earned the Spanish club their victory.
After the game, the Wales international made known his anger over limited playing time at Madrid and he said he would discuss with his agent over his future.
Apart from Manchester United, German champions Bayern Munich are also understood to be interested in signing the former Tottenham man.
However, it was reported that the player would prefer moving back to England to join Manchester United than to make a switch to Bayern Munich in Germany.
