German star Serge Gnabry has hinted he is open to a move to the Premier League despite leaving Arsenal just last summer.
The 21-year-old left the Emirates stadium after failing to nail a starting spot under Arsene Wenger, playing just 10 league games during his four-year stint before joining Werder Bremen during the last summer window.
Gnabry has been impressive for Werder Bremen since his arrival and has gone on to score 10 goals in 16 appearances.
However, despite his current form in the Bundesliga, the Germany international has admitted he could make a shock return to the Premier League and could be with Chelsea or Arsenal.
When asked about his future, he told Bild: ‘For my future, I’ve decided to focus on how I play now and today. That’s why I’m trying to concentrate on the now.
‘As of today, I do not intend to change in the summer. But what happens in the future depends on my performance.
‘What if Chelsea or Arsenal come knocking? Well, at the moment I’m trying to give everything to Werder.’
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had earlier confessed he should have used Gnabry during his time at the North London, claiming he had to allow him leave.
The Blues are said to be looking for additions in the transfer market as they hope to continue to mount the serious contention.
