Chelsea has reportedly offered Diego Costa a new contract worth £200,000-per week following speculations over his future.

The 27-year-old has been a subject of interest from China following hi altercation with Blues boss Antonio Conte in training over his fitness issues.

Reliable sources disclose that Diego Costa has told his close associates that he wants to leave Chelsea because he hates English football.

However, recent reports have it that the Blues are now ready to discuss a new contract with the former Atletico Madrid striker but the striker has rejected their advances.

Conte has now since then dismissed reports linking Costa to a move to the Far East with reports of a mega deal from Tianjin Quanjin.

He told ESPN: I think we’re a great club and it’s a great honour to play for Chelsea and for this reason I don’t see a threat from China for my players. The money is not everything. When you play for a great team like Chelsea, you must be pleased with your situation.

Diego Costa has been in an impressive form in the Premier League helping the Blues to the top of the table and Conte will hope he remains at the club despite ruling him out of the squad that defeated Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium last Saturday.
