Following the weekend match against Southampton at St. Mary’s stadium which saw Chelsea scored three goals thanks to efforts from Eden Hazard, Ross Barkley, and Alvaro Morata, the Blues fans have been applauding Ross Barkley for his excellent performance.
Chelsea talisman, Eden Hazard also joined in celebrating the England international, the Belgium star hinted that Barkley is a magnificent player and can still put up more awesome performances for Chelsea.
However, Ross Barkley in a recent statement have reciprocated his love and respect for Eden Hazard.
He disclosed that the 27 years old has achieved more at Stamford Bridge and he is hoping he stays for a while rather than move to Real Madrid – which is his next likely destination.
Ross Barkley stressed that the final decision, however, will be made by Eden Hazard.
The England midfielder joined Chelsea at the paltry sum of £15 million but was unable to perform due to incessant injuries which also affected him in the international scene.
Sarri gave him a chance during the weekend game and Ross Barkley proved his worth as a talented player.
He paved way for the first goal assist which was scored by Eden Hazard before he scored his first ever goal for Chelsea in the second half following an acrobatic kick from Olivier Giroud.
Ross Barkley is currently with the England national squad.
