According to reports, Chelsea stars have been sending text message to the club’s former assistant coach Steve Holland because they don’t want to relate with Antonio Conte directly.
The players are thought to be missing Steve Holland’s influence in the dressing room after he took up a similar role with the England technical setup in the summer. The Sun reported that players have sent text to him telling him how much they miss the Englishman at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have suffered a lot of injuries recently with England international midfielder Danny Drinkwater, France international midfielder N’Golo Kante, Spaniard Alvaro Morata and Nigerian Victor Moses all missing matches.
As a result, the Premier League Champions have won just a game in their last four fixtures, beating Watford on Saturday the League.
The players have reportedly blamed the injury disaster at the West London club on the Italian’s heavy training schedule. With the Blues back in the UEFA Champions League this campaign there has also been less off days.
Insiders revealed that Holland held a nice relationship with most of the players since joining the club in 2011. Holland’s replacement, Davide Mazzotta, has reportedly done otherwise since joining the club in the summer.
