The speculations surrounding the future of Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba seem to be holding more water than expected.

Italian football legend Andrea Pirlo is the latest to think that nothing can stop the Frenchman from returning to Juventus if situations remain the same.

He said that should the midfielder ends up leaving the Old Trafford, he will not be surprise because of the high demand for him by Juventus.

It would be recalled that the pair played alongside each other in Juventus between 2012 and 2015, winning three Scudetti in before the Frenchman moved back to Manchester United for a then-world record €110m.

He noted that Juventus are currently working hard to return as the best in Europe, hence will leave the room open for star players who left to return back.

Pirlo said now that the new stadium by the Italian giants has been completed, all that is needed is to invest in players who will return the club to glory days.

However, Barcelona has been mentioned as a possible destination for Pogba who is reportedly keen to stay out of Mourinho’s reach.

Manchester United chief, Ed Woodward has maintained that he will not let the player leave at the moment as the Red Devils plan o keep him as part of the club’s future plans.
