Another United legend proves he is not good enough?

Paul Scholes

Latest development reveals that Man United legend Paul Scholes, who resigned his position as the head coach of Oldham Athletic on Thursday afternoon did that through a text message to the club owner

This was revealed by the club owner Abdallah Lemsagam who claimed to be disappointed by the decision and action of the former Red Devils midfielder.

Paul Scholes had stepped down the role at Boundary Park after just seven games in charge at the club where he won one game, drew three and suffered three defeats, claiming that he was unable to operate as intended in the role.

However, Abdallah Lemsagam, who is still in shock at the development said Paul Scholes was given all the support and autonomy at the club to operate freely so he can deliver good results, adding that he was personally supportive to give his nod to any decision made by the former player.

He stressed that there was no issue raised by Paul Scholes earlier before receiving the text which is the reason for his disappointment but wishes him well in his future.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will sit with Paul Scholes to offer him support and know why he took the actions.
