Ngolo Kante – ‘there was no reason to go after the world cup’ admits to interest from PSG in summer
While report had gone viral about the likes of Eden Hazard leaving for Real Madrid, Willian leaving for Barcelona, nothing of such really made news about N’Golo Kante leaving Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea 27-year-old midfielder and world cup winner, Kante has disclosed in a recent statement of how French club, Paris Saint Germain had shown interest in him in the last summer transfer window.
The France international stressed that he didn’t leave Stamford Bridge after the 2018 world cup in Russia because there was no reason for it.
He added that he discussed with Chelsea and saw that the club needed him so he decided to remain in London.
The French club, PSG made a second bid for Kante in the summer transfer window which didn’t yield a positive result.
PSG may be planning to make another bid in the January transfer window if they are not held down by the Financial Fair Play rule.
N’Golo Kante, ever since the arrival of new coach Sarri Maurizio, he has been a key factor in the Chelsea squad.
This is because the Italian has given him more playing chances.
