There are fears that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will yet again have some outburst with the club’s management with the latest reports that things are not working in his direction.

It has been reported that the Portuguese manager is failing to have his preferred candidate for the position of the sporting director at the Old Trafford which means he might be unsatisfied with the moves of whosoever emerges.

It would be recalled that the Red Devils boss had an outburst with the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward as a result of his inability to sanction the signings of defenders in the summer transfer window.

That situation led to the need for a sporting director who will now oversee transfer issues but unfortunately, Mourinho’s candidate might not emerge.

The former Chelsea boss has preferred Luis Campos as the new sporting director, having worked together at Real Madrid, in addition to the good work he did at French side Monaco.

However, it is reported that Luis Campos is yet to be interviewed despite applying for the job with Ed Woodward blamed for not making it work.

This is believed to further worsen the relationship between the Portuguese boss and Woodward in the coming days.
