Mourinho Urged To Start This In-form Star Against Crystal Palace

Manchester United are playing Crystal Palace next on Saturday, and Jose Mourinho will want to get another win before many of his boys move to their respective countries for the international break.

The Old Trafford club will be going into the game with great confidence after beating CSKA Moscow 4-1 in Russia on Wednesday night in their second Champions League group stage game.

A handful of top players are still injured, and Jose could wait until Saturday morning before making decisions on up to four of his men.

Palace are yet to get a single point so far this season, and are less likely to get any point at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Phil Jones has been so impressive at the backside so far this season, but he is a major doubt for the premier league game.

The Englishman couldn’t travel to Russia with the rest of the guys, and even Mourinho admits he is unsure if the defender would return in time for the Palace game – which should give Chris Smalling the opportunity to get hit first start of the season.

But Jose is expected to have some major issues with his selection in the wide: Martial, Rashford, Mata, Mkhitaryan.

Frenchman Anthony Martial continued his brilliant start to the season against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday and was given the man of the match reward despite limping off the pitch before full-time.

The 21-year-old however showed just little signs of the injury when the team came back home from Russia, and many are already urging Mourinho to give him a start against the Eagles on Saturday – if he is actually fit.

Manchester United are expected to get all three points from the encounter, but we look forward to what will happen eventually.
