According to new reports, Jose Mourinho wants those at Old Trafford to show how much they value him by bringing a new deal to the table.

The Portuguese tactician is already halfway through a three-year deal he signed with the red devils, although there is an option to extend his stay for a further 12 months in the contract.

Jose was heavily linked with French side PSG after publicly declaring his admiration for the Paris club.

He has managed various clubs across various countries and has won different top trophies with them.

The former Chelsea manager arrived Old Trafford last year and was able to win the League Cup and the Europa League with Manchester United in his first season at the club.

It was however said that PSG have approached his representatives, and the Man United management are concerned their manager could be tempted to move to the Ligue I.

But new reports made it known that Jose is happy at Old Trafford and wants the board to prove how much value they place by offering him a new deal.

Although the Portuguese boss is already one of the best-paid managers in the world, it was added that he expects Man United to give him a pay rise to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
