Mourinho to leave England this week for Eastern Europe

Manchester United manager has been reported to be leaving England this week to Eastern Europe where he is believed to scout for players.

According to the Mirror, the Portuguese manager will watch the UEFA Nations League match between Montengero and Serbia as he prepares for the January transfer window.

The manager is now free to make his trip as his players have all departed to their individual countries for their international games.

Mourinho will watch his player, Nemanja Matic should he eventually feature for his side after the Serbia national team coach, Mladen Krstajic confirmed on Monday that he is yet to join the team.

Krstajic said the player is nursing a back pain which might keep him away from the game but confirmed that Matic will watch the game alongside Mourinho.

It was not revealed the player Mourinho targets to see but there are suggestions that he will be taking notes of some defenders in the game as he has been promised of an active transfer dealing in the January window.

Mourinho had lamented the lack of activities in the summer market and had predicted a difficult season for his side but the board are now willing to make it happen for the Portuguese boss this time around.
