Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot is reportedly set to perform a transfer U-turn by putting pen to paper on a new deal despite the fact that he was on his way out in recent weeks.
This is according to the publication from the stables of ESPN which claimed that the French international midfielder will sign a new contract once former sporting director Leonardo returns to the club in the same capacity as a replacement for current recipient Antero Henrique.
Adrien Rabiot and his mother/agent clashed with Antero Henrique over a new contract and the player was subsequently frozen out of the team.
The young French midfielder was linked with Spanish champions Barcelona as well as several Premier League clubs like Liverpool as a result of his predicament at PSG.
His current deal with the French champions expires this summer.
Apart from reigning European champions Liverpool, the 24-year-old has also been linked with Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
Adrien Rabiot was frozen out of the PSG for the better part of the just concluded campaign.
His last appearance in the colours of PSG came as far back as December during the Champions League away clash at Serbian club Red Star Belgrade.
