Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is now considering a swoop for Tottenham Hotspur left-back, Danny Rose, according to reports.

The 27-year-old has been in the news lately due to his explosive interview where he criticised Spurs’ transfer policy, stirring controversy over his future at the White Hart Lane before he apologised for his actions.

However, the speculations of his future have refused to die down with reports that the left-back could be open to a move away from his current side despite Spurs’ policy of not allowing any of their stars leave this summer following the departure of Kyle Walker who joined Manchester City for 50 million pounds earlier this summer.

United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be looking at the prospects of adding new faces to his defensive ranks ahead of next season, with reports that the Portuguese is concerned about his fullback positions after settling his central defence challenges with the arrival of Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

Reports in Manchester Evening News claim that Mourinho is now seriously considering a move for Rose who could be up for grabs following his controversial comments about his current situation at Tottenham.

However, United will have to test Spurs’ resolve with a mammoth before a transfer move could materialise after they sold Walker for a crazy fee.
