Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi has been seen undergoing his Borussia Dortmund medical test as deadline day activity seems to be going to plan for Chelsa so far.

As reported by the Telegraph, Michy Batshuayi’s transfer to the Bundesliga side should mean he opens up space for France international Olivier Giroud to join the Premier League champions, with the Gunners only interested in letting the Frenchman leave once a deal for Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was completed.

The deal for Aubameyang has been officially completed and announced this morning, meaning the German side must be sure of signing their replacement in the form of Chelsea second choice striker Batshuayi.

The Belgian international has now been seen undergoing his medical tests, with picture tweet of the player in Borussia Dortmund-branded training short going viral.

Deal should be completed today

It is still unknown when this deal will be completed, but it looks like only a matter of time before the 24-year-old striker is announced as a Borussia Dortmund player, which should also be positive news in terms of Olivier Giroud moving to West London.

The striker has struggled to seal himself during his short spell at Stamford bridge and Olivier Giroud should be an improved version due to being more suited to manager Antonio Conte’s style of play.
