Mateo Kovacic names another Chelsea star as one of the best three players in the world

Real Madrid loanee player, Matteo Kovacic, was missing in action for the Blues yesterday when they play against Greek football club, PAOK.

Although, the game ended in a win for the Blues the absence of the midfielder was felt on the pitch of play.

Kovacic was unable to fly with Chelsea squad to Greece after he sustained an injury in the EPL match against Cardiff.

However, the spectacular midfielder in a recent statement spoke about the Blues recent 4 – 1 win over Cardiff at Stamford Bridge.

Kovacic went on to describe Belgium international and Chelsea striker, Eden Hazard as one of the top three in the world.

He added that before coming to England, he never knew Hazard is good but having played alongside him week in week out, he can say that the Belgium star is incredible.

Both Hazard and Kovacic missed the Uefa Europa League match in Greece as Eden Hazard had informed coach Sarri that he was tired.

Apart from Matteo Kovacic, Chelsea new coach, Sarri Maurizio has described Eden Hazard as the best player in Europe rating him above the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kovacic and Hazard are expected to make a return in the English Premier League as they take on West Ham next.
