Star Player To Sign Manchester United Contract On One Condition

Marouane Fellaini

According to reports, Marouane Fellaini is ready to extend his stay at Manchester United if he can be offered a new deal that will make him earn £170,000 each week at Old Trafford.

Fellaini is out of contract at Man United next summer and has turned down their first offer to extend his stay at the club.

The Belgium international currently earns £75,000-a-week at the club and was offered a new deal that will see him earn around £100,000 each week.

But while Manchester United were initially confident the player would accept their offer, Marouane confirmed a few hours ago that he rejected the club’s offer.

The former Everton midfielder also said he is expecting another offer from the red devils shortly, and admitted he is unsure if he would accept what is to be offered.

The 30-year-old has lucrative offers on the table from China and Turkey after his recent performances at Manchester United in recent times.

But he has reportedly told Jose Mourinho’s side that he wants around £170,000-a-week to stay at the Theater of dreams.

Although Jose is keen on keeping the Belgian with him at Old Trafford, Manchester United are unlikely to offer Fellaini that much, and could eventually get him sold this January.

If Manchester United chose not to sell him next month, the player is free to agree a pre-contract agreement with other clubs from next Monday.
