Skye Sports pundit gives reason for Mo Salah poor form

This season is a really hard one for Liverpool points man and Egypt international, Mohammed Salah as he has been struggling to make an effort for the Reds.

Mo Salah, this season has scored just two goals from 6 matches (five in the English Premier League and one in the Uefa Champions League) which is unlike him.

This has now raised questions if the player is not undergoing a goal drought this season.

Goal drought is typical of most top players as they expect to repeat their goal scoring skills every season which at times is not possible.

This has damped the Egyptian forward and he is below form for Liverpool this season having scored 31 goals in the last campaign.

Currently, Senegal international, Sadio Mane is the highest goal scorer at Liverpool.

However, Skye Sports pundit,  Mark Schwarzer in a recent statement disclosed the reason behind Mo Salah poor form at Liverpool.

Mark Schwarzer said that the Egyptian star is putting pressure on himself to perform better this season.

The football pundit added that the reason for this is because Salah is a top player but he needs to handle it well so as to remain in form.

So far the Reds have kept a 100 per cent win and are currently seated at the top of the EPL table with Chelsea.

Salah netted a goal against Southampton.
