It’s been a nightmare start to the Premier League season for Crystal Palace. They have already sacked Frank De Boer and replace him with Roy Hodgson, while they’ve lost their opening six games of the new season without netting a goal.
As for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, they have sealed themselves in the English Premier League title race, while they defeated CSKA Moscow 4 – 1 in midweek in the UEFA Champions League.
Crystal Palace will head to the City of Manchester for the second weekend running, hoping to avoid a loss.
Palace last weekend were beaten 5-0 by United’s neighbours Manchester City, and fans will be predicting more of the same scoreline against Mourinho’s men.
United are unbeaten in the Premier League this season, with five victories and a draw in their opening six matches.
The Red Devil’s manager, however, does have some selection issues.
Both Marcos Rojo and Swede star Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both still nursing knee injuries and are a while away from returning.
Paul Pogba is another long-term absentee. It’s still unclear if Pogba needs surgery for a thigh problem.
Also doubtful for the weekend’s game are Michael Carrick, Phil Jones and Marouane Fellaini. Anthony Martial limped out of the Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow after scoring from the spot.
As for Crystal Palace, Christian Benteke may remain out of action for about two months. Sako might start up-front against Manchester United.
