Alexis Sanchez has been in the news recently due to his links with Manchester United, and there are new reports that the Old Trafford club are expected to complete a deal for him in the next 48 hours so he can possibly play for Jose Mourinho this weekend.
According to The Daily Express, the Chilean international could make his debut for Manchester United when they clash with Burnley on Saturday, and he is expected to become a United player any moment from now.
Alexis was almost signed by Manchester City during the past summer transfer window, but Arsenal hindered the move because they couldn’t get a replacement for him.
Pep Guardiola is still keen on the player, and Sanchez himself is interested in reuniting with his former manager at the Etihad Stadium.
But after Manchester United offered a better package to the former Barcelona man as well as his club and agent, the red devils are now favourites to get his signature – while the premier league leaders pulled out of the deal.
Alexis has made up his mind to leave Arsenal and has refused to put pen on paper for a new deal with the gunners to extend his stay at the club.
Arsene Wenger has agreed to sell the superstar this month than losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
