Ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has already indicated the need to strengthen his midfield department by signing new superb midfielders when the window reopens.
And according to new reports, the red devils are set to splash over £130million to get the signature of two superb midfielders.
The Daily Mail made it known that United are already taking necessary steps to sign the duo of Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk) for a fee in the region of £50million, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio) who is rated around £80 Million.
The red devils will lose about three of their current midfielders at the end of this season, and it is necessary they plan ahead.
Club legend Micheal Carrick is hanging his boots at the end of the current campaign, while Belgium international Marouane Fellaini is likely to leave the Theater of Dreams as a free man this summer.
Apart from that, there are some other speculations that France international Paul Pogba could leave Old Trafford this year due to his struggles with consistent form.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move back to Juventus, and who knows if the 25-year-old would actually press for a return back to Turin at the end of the day.
Getting both Fred and Sergej for £130m is good business for Manchester United should they achieve success.
