CSKA Moscow star player and Russian international Aleksandr Golovin has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after he emerged as a target for premier league heavyweights Manchester United.
And according to new reports, the Old Trafford club are closing in on the signing of the player.
Aleksandr burst into the big scene in 2014 after finding his way into the first-team at CSKA Moscow, and he has gone ahead to play 113 games for the Russian side.
The Russian star has evolved into one of the best youngsters in the continent and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
United boss Jose Mourinho travelled to Innsbruck to watch the game between Austria and Russia some days back, and it was made known (via the Sun) that the Portuguese tactician was there just to keep an eye on Golovin.
It’s claimed Manchester United views the talented player as a perfect replacement for Juan Mata and are set to finalise a £15million deal for him.
The World Cup starts a few days from now, with Golovin ready to represent his country. It is understood the red devils are seeking to complete the deal before the start of the competition
