Man Utd vs. Everton: Jose Mourinho’s best-attacking line-up

A lot has changed at Old Trafford since last campaign, and the most significant aspect is goals.

Manchester United found goals hard to come by last season, but that has since changed since their recent acquisitions.

They have netted 15 goals in their last five games – an average of three goals a game – and fans will expect their team to come out firing against an Everton team that have lost their last two matches 0-3.

Here is manager Jose Mourinho’s most attacking line-up – excluding the injured French international Paul Pogba – for the encounter with Ronald Koeman’s Everton on Sunday afternoon.

United’s front six, along with flying full-backs Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, have all shown a capacity to inflict misery going forward so far this campaign.

Belgium pair of Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku were both in superb form against FC Basel in the Champions League on Tuesday night, scoring United’s first and second goals respectively, and giving them the opportunity to inflict further damage on their former side Everton feels like a no-brainer.

Fellaini, 29, has quickly turned the tide of opinion towards himself recently with some boisterous midfield performances and Romelu Lukaku has outscored the entire Everton squad in the English Premier League over the first four matches.
