Canadian youngster Alphonso Davies has been impressive recently, and his superb performances has caught the attention of Manchester United, following reports that he is now attracting interest from the Old Trafford club.
It was made known that the red devils have taken some steps to bring him down to Old Trafford for trial, and are expecting a green light from the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Davies made his debut for the Canadian side at the age of 15 and scored three times in six international appearances for his country.
The 17-year-old has attracted attention from a handful of top European clubs, but it appears he is Old Trafford bound.
The red devils are understood to be the first club to make a move for the Canadian youngster by offering him a trial at Manchester.
The report also added that his club are already set for interest in the winter, and are ready to approve his trip to the UK.
Manchester United have been bringing new youngsters into their academy recently, and have finalised deals for the likes Tahith Chong and Aliou Traore.
The management have asked manager Jose Mourinho to sell some players in the January transfer window to raise more funds to bring in new superstars. The likes of Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian have been linked with moves away from the club recently.
