Lucas Torreira on his way out?

This is not the story Arsenal fans will like to hear as their star player and one of the favourites is already being linked away from the Emirates Stadium in this summer transfer window.

Uruguay international Lucas Torreira only joined the North London outfit Arsenal from Italian Serie A outfit Sampdoria in this last summer transfer window and became a very special member of the team. He also became the fans favourite.

However, he is already being linked with a move to Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan as they are reportedly considering a move to try and prise him from the Emirates Stadium.

Lucas Torreira is being linked because AC Milan are set to name his former manager Marco Giampaolo as their new boss and are hoping to reunite the pair at the San Siro according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Serie A outfit are hoping to improve next season after failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Some players are expected to leave while new faces are brought in.

It is therefore yet to be seen if the Gunners will let go of their star player in this summer window as he has still got a number of years left in his contract.
