One club that surprised the world this season in Europe is Ligue I champions Monaco.

The French club were quite impressive this season – winning the French Ligue I trophy and reaching the semi finals of the Champions League.

And all these were possible due to the players performances, and a handful of them are linked with to both the Premier League and Spanish League ahead of the summer transfer window.

One of the stars who had been heavily linked with a move away from the French club is young teenager Kylian Mbappe.

The premier league duo of Chelsea and Manchester United are said to be interested in getting him and both had been linked with the France international in recent times.

He came into the global scene this season and has scored 26 times in 43 appearances for his French club. He also played an integral part in their impressive run in the Champions League this season.

It now appears that Liverpool have been checking out his performances secretly, as it was reported by a Spanish outlet ‘Marca’ that the Anfield club made a superb £64million offer for the young teenager.

It was however added that Monaco swiftly turned down the offer from Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool’s German manager is trying to reinforce his squad come summer and won’t mind bringing in a superb forward as Daniel Sturridge is set to leave the club at the end of this season.
