During the last summer transfer window, Manchester United stole the show by spending huge to sign big players – including signing Paul Pogba for a world record fee. If without Champions League football, they were able to bring in high quality players.
This year too, it appears the Old Trafford club are prepared to spend the cash… And one of the star players on their radar right now Inter Milan star player Ivan Perisic.
However, a Liverpool star has told Ivan to ignore Manchester United and to come to Liverpool instead
Dejan Lovren asked Perisic to complete a move to Liverpool instead of going to the Old Trafford.
Just last week, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was spotted in Croatia. And as expected, it was already been speculated that the Portuguese tactician was meeting up with Perisic’s agent over a possible move to England.
Though the former Chelsea coach on his part played down the importance of the meeting, it was been said that his club are preparing a £35million move for the winger in the summer transfer window.
Nevertheless, Lovren speaking to a Croatian newspaper recently stated that something in vogue in the footballing world is that footballers do not know anything about transfers until it happens.
He however added that a top quality player like Perisic moving to Liverpool would be great and all the players would welcome him with open arms at Anfield.
