Liverpool Face European Competition For English Midfielder
Five-time European champions Liverpool will have to see off competition from all over the continent in their quest to sign young midfielder Daniel Adshead when the January transfer window reopens in the next few weeks.
Daniel Ashead plays for English League One side Rochdale at the moment and he has attracted interests from several big clubs on the European football scene.
According to the publication from popular English news platform The Sun, Liverpool and four others are keen on a transfer for the 17-year-old.
Other European sides interested in a move for the young English media include Chelsea, Everton as well as the German Bundesliga duo of Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.
His impressive performances for both club and country have led to interests from the above-mentioned clubs.
Daniel Adshead made his first start of the season In League One at the weekend during the 1-0 victory over Accrington Stanley.
It was his 15th appearance for Rochdale in the new campaign.
He had earlier made his debut for the England U18s against the Netherlands this month.
Daniel Adshead was on target in that game against the Dutch team.
He’s expected to join the Liverpool Academy if the Reds manage to beat other interested clubs to his signature.
