Italian Serie A side Lazio have offered young Liverpool winger Bobby Adekanye a five-year deal to join the club on a free transfer at the end of this season.
This is according to the Daily Mirror which revealed that the Nigerian-born player has just six months left on his current deal with the Premier League table toppers.
It was also established that his agent has so far frustrated the Reds in their bid to hand Bobby Adekanye a contract extension at the club.
Adekanye, 19, joined the Merseyside giants from Spanish La Liga side Barcelona in the summer of 2015 after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal that will expire later this year.
He’s yet to feature for the Reds first team since joining the club though he has trained with the main squad on several occasions.
Bobby Adekanye has scored once in nine matches for Liverpool in the second tier of the Premier League and has also featured for the Reds in the UEFA Youth Cup.
Before joining Barcelona, the Dutch junior international had stints with the Ajax Amsterdam as well as rivals PSV Eindhoven.
Italian Serie A giants Lazio are keen to sign him despite his obvious lack of experience as far as top flight football is concerned.
