Former Arsenal star Kevin Campbell has hinted the Gunners manager Unai Emery to ensure he secures the signature of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Italian Serie A side Napoli.

Kalidou Koulibaly has been linked with a move to Manchester United with their former manager Jose Mourinho believed to be pushing for a deal for the player before he was eventually sacked.

However, the former Gunners have come to state that Kalidou Koulibaly would be a good fit for the Gunners defence and will make a good signing for the club.

The North London side are in need of solid defence having scored a number of goals but conceded as many as 20 goals in 18 games despite going 21 games unbeaten.

Kalidou Koulibaly has got a price tag of about £53 million which could be affordable by the Gunners if he is seen as a priority.

However, manager Unai Emery has already confirmed that there could be some business activities as soon as the winter transfer reopens in coming weeks so as to have more additions at the back.

The North London side are currently fifth in the Premier League table and they are looking forward to finishing in the top four at the end of the season.
