Italian Seire A outfit Juventus have dealt Arsenal major blow by rejecting their bid for Medhi Benati, according to reports by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.
The 31-year-old Moroccan international have been a Juventus player since 2016 where he has been impressive and proved to be a no-nonsense defender in the Serie A.
He has been linked away from the Old Lady for the past months with reports that he could join the North London side Arsenal in this January window.
However, the Italian journalist claims that Medhi Benati would not be joining the Gunners because the Turin side are not ready to part ways with him because of his experience.
Medhi Benati has also hinted that he would remain with the Italian Champions as long as they want him to remain at the club but noted that he will not be able to play as he ought of because of the game on his side.
Meanwhile, the Gunners team will have to look forward to other options as they seek to solve their defensive crisis with Rob Holdings already injured and out of the season.
The North London side have conceded more goals than any other big Premier League side so far this season.
