Few months after sanctioning the sack of Jose Mourinho as the head coach of the Manchester United team, the Red Devils owner Joel Glazer has sanctioned the sack of another manager but this time, it is in the NFL.

The second manager to be sacked by the United owners went down on Monday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coach Dirk Koetter was sacked on Monday after an unsuccessful season which saw his side go 5-11 in the NFC South.

Just like Man United team, Glazer and general manager Jason Licht will now be in search of a long-term successor for the sacked coach.

According to a statement by Glazer, Dirk Koetter was appreciated for his commitment and good job at the club in the number of years he spent as he wished him all of the best in his future plans.

However, Glazers in his statement made it clear that he is now in search of a new manager that will take over which would be conducted by General Manager Jason Licht.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are done with the season and will wait until next which reopens in August.

United have appointed former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as an interim manager and will hope to have a new manager in 2019.
