North London side Arsenal are set to complete the signature of left-footed winger Katrine Veje so as to help solve the injury crisis at the club.
Katrine Veje is a Denmark winger who was a runner up in the Euro 2017 for the women category would be available for the Arsenal female team having terminated her contract with French Ligue 1 female side Montpellier.
Although, Katrine Veje is reported to have been affected by her inability to stay away from home as she only scored 8 goals in the 31 games under her belt within 18 months in addition to her four leagues assist on goal.
Katrine Veje was impressive in the Euro tournament but that performance has not been replicated anywhere especially in her club side aside when she played in France.
Suggestions are that her willingness to play from the Gunners will help her discover her from and return to the player she used to be with her attacking skills, pace and crossing ability.
However, the Arsenal female team are not alone in the defensive crisis knowing that the male first-team are also dipped in defensive crisis and being short of players.
It is therefore not clear if the male Arsenal team will engage in the coming winter market like the female category or not.
