Premier League giant Manchester United have had problems at the left back position this term, but reports suggest that manager Jose Mourinho has identified his favoured solution to the issues.
Injury setback for Shaw
United have Luke Shaw, a natural left full -backs in the team, but he has heavily struggled to cement his place as a first team regular in that role
In fact, Shaw, 22, has played only 16 matches so far this campaign, with the Daily Mail citing that he has not allegedly had the best of relationships with Portuguese tactician Jos Mourinho during his spell at the side.
Decent deputy
England international Ashley Young has often been played ahead of Shaw in an unnatural position for him, but to the players credit, he has done a decent job deputizing and has played a major part in Manchester United having one of the Premier Leagues best defences as the team have only conceded 27 goals in 35 matches.
Considering the long-term picture, United will seek a permanent solution to the problematic position, and as per the Manchester Evening News, the former Chelsea boss wants Juventus and Brazil defender Alex Sandro to be just that.
Not cheap
Sando would not come cheap though as per The Sun, who suggest that the Brazil international wing-back will cost Man Utd about £70m, which is a big money for a defender.
