Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on signing Borussia Dortmund centre back, Marc Batra, according to reports.
The center back has been a bit-part for the Bundesliga side since he moved there from Barcelona, making just 31 appearances and has been tipped to make a move away from the club.
Reports in Spanish outlet AS claim that Jose Mourinho is confident that Batra will be an ideal signing to his defensive setup at the Old Trafford and has ordered the club to sign the defender.
Following the arrival of Victor Lindelof from Portuguese giants, Benfica, there are reports that Mourinho still wants to bring in more players to his defence line after getting frustrated with their performances last season, with prompted him to criticise some of his defenders publicly.
It is understood that Mourinho is maintaining an interest in Micheal Keane, who impressed at Burnley despite their dismal performance in the Premier League last season.
Although there are reports that the English defender will prefer to move to Everton due to the arrival of Lindelof to the Old Trafford, triggering suggestions that the young centre-back wants first team football next season and believes he can get that the Goodison Park.
